Questions & answers
Do I need BatterySnap to use Xtra?
Yes. Xtra is a companion add-on — it provides extra widget styles for BatterySnap. Install BatterySnap first.
Why a separate app instead of one merged app?
Xtra started as an optional extension so users wanting only the base widgets keep a smaller install. Both apps share the same battery data — there's no duplicate background work.
Will Xtra drain the battery?
No. Like the main app, widgets refresh only on battery state change or every 30 minutes. Impact is negligible.
Same publisher as BatterySnap?
Yes — both apps come from xelacorp, the original developer, since 2009/2010.
